I fell in love with Indian food in London many years ago. It is my favorite food! And this is my favorite Indian food restaurant in the West Chester area. Go here regularly for takeout - chicken tikka masala, chicken vindaloo, aloo gobi, garlic naan. Love it all! Literally never a bad experience going there. Have only eaten there in person a few times and service was no problem. The food is really good!

Closest thing to a proper curry that I have gotten in the USA. Love the lamb vindaloo and lamb rogan josh at max heat with plain naan bread.

My go-to for Indian in West Chester. Great food, good service, nice restaurant. Have been eating here for 10 years now and one of those places you have to go to after you've been out of town for a while to reacquainted with!

Delicious! Excellent food and service. Atmosphere is very nice too. Onion bread appetizer is recommended. Also the Chicken Korma.

I don't fully understand why this restaurant doesn't have a higher star rating, it's always a hit - never a miss. It's a little bit of a drive from where I live, but it's the best no fail Indian food around. I usually order from here for my family about once a month. Here is our go to order - vegetable pakora (fantastic. Good variety of veggies, lightly spiced - my 3 and 5 year olds love them), vegetarian samosa (great flavor, sometimes they have some kick so it's hit or miss with the kids, but adults love them), chicken korma and chicken saag (we get medium spice and it's fairly spicy, good big chunks of white meat chicken, thick sauce). The pashwari naan is unbelievable. So good. Kids eat the whole thing. The chicken biryani is nice too. I haven't eaten inside, but it's your typical restaurant inside. Looks nice, but not fancy. Take out has never missed! I did have one not so pleasant experience with the manager/owner when picking up takeout on time, but service has been fine otherwise.

The food is consistently amazing and the service is excellent for take out! Our order is always ready on time and always right, which is a very rare occurrence these days! Usually, we order Paneer or Chicken Tikka Masala, Mixed Vegetables, Punjabi tikka, all medium spice and they are always perfect! The Gobi Pakoras, Raita, Garlic Naan and the vegetable Samosas are all delicious as well. So, If your looking for great Indian food then you have to try Shere-e-Punjab in Glen Mills Pa!

Located in a strip mall setting in Glen Mills, PA, Sher-E-Punjab is an excellent option for Indian food when visiting the Longwood Gardens & Brandywine area. I've dined there twice now, and the food quality has been great and service friendly both times I've gone. The mango lassi (4/5) tasted good with nice hints of mango. I was a bit apprehensive since it was served with ice, but it didn't detract at all from the taste. The chicken tikka masala and palak paneer (both 4.5/5) were solid preparations with each with their respective tomato and spinach gravies. Although business seemed slow when I visited, they were on point with quality of both dishes. Naan was fluffy & delicious, with a fresh taste. For dessert, we had the kheer (4/5) which hit all the right flavor notes and a perfect portion for sharing among multiple diners to satisfy the sweet tooth. The prices (5/5) were very reasonable for Indian food as most other restaurants are usually more expensive. Service was friendly and food quality great such that Shere-E-Punjab will be our go to Indian restaurant when in the Brandywine area.

Ordered the following: 1) lamb samosas, which were yum 2) lamb roganjosh spicy but good 3) naans - butter and garlic
